Some themes have everything you want. Some have everything you need but not everything you want. If you're doesn't have author avatars on post titles here's a simple way to make that happen.

So you’ve found the theme you like but it’s missing that one cool element you loved so much … the author’s image along with the post title. As with anything there are a dozen work-arounds and if you have another please share it here. This is the old fashioned hacker, down and dirty way of getting that image on the title line of individual posts.
